TFC Partnership Expansion - Sept 19, 2007 Update
As part of its management transition plan, in May 2006, The Forestry Corp. expanded its ownership group to include three long-serving staff members. Over the last 18 months, Carrie Wightman, Bob Christian and Grant Burkell have been mentoring under the original ownership group to ensure that the Company’s success, built on high quality service and strong client relationships, continues throughout these management changes.
The Forestry Corp. is proud to announce that Carrie Wightman is the new Manager of Information Services group and Bob Christian is the new Manager of the Resource Inventory group.

Carrie has been with The Forestry Corp. since June 2001. Her background in geographic information system technologies and project management complemented by years of experience in both operational and consulting forestry environments, are well suited to this position.
The Information Services group at The Forestry Corp. is comprised of geographic information system analysts and technicians as well as a complement of software designers and programmers. The outgoing manager, Brian Maier, will continue to work at, and manage, parts of the Company, while assisting the new partners in managing projects, developing client and business relationships and providing mentorship and support to the new Manager of the Information Services group.

Bob joined The Forestry Corp. in September 2000. His industry and consulting-based experience with inventory systems and their application in strategic and operational resource management provides the required skill set to successfully lead this group.
The Resource Inventory group at The Forestry Corp. is comprised of a small, yet flexible, and dynamic group of professions with significant experience in the areas of hard photo and digital form resource interpretation, and the associated data management, fieldwork and auditing. The outgoing manager, Olenka Bakowsky, will continue to work at, and manage, parts of the Company, while assisting the new partners in managing projects, developing client and business relationships and providing mentorship and support to the new Manager of the Resource Inventory group.
